Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Rivne Tech ("we", "us") collects through www.rivnetech.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and we handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact or book-a-call form we receive your name, email, and anything else you choose to add: company, phone number, the topics and ERP you pick, a preferred call time and your time zone, and your message.
- Usage data. Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, the device and browser, an approximate location based on your IP address, and how you arrived. It uses cookies to do this.
- Spam protection. Our form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which looks at technical information about your device and how you use the page to tell people from bots.
How we use it
- To reply to you, arrange the call you asked for, and prepare for it.
- To understand which pages help visitors and to improve the site.
- To keep the form free of spam and abuse.
- To send occasional updates, but only if you ticked the box asking for them. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by writing to us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to these purposes without asking you first.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers, who process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Railway hosts this website.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox and sends confirmation emails.
- Google provides Analytics, reCAPTCHA and the web fonts used on the site.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Analytics account.
Cookies
Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works without them, although the form may ask for an extra check.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@rivnetech.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
